This Privacy Policy describes how Phēnix Wearables ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and connects to your supported wearable device.
To provide fitness tracking features, with your consent, we collect data from your wearable device sensors, including:
This data is processed locally on your device and synchronized with the App to visualize your health trends. We do not sell your health data to third parties.
We collect information about your mobile device and your connected wearable device, including hardware models, operating system versions, and unique device identifiers.
Note on Location Data: To scan for and connect to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, Android requires Location permissions. We access your location only to facilitate this Bluetooth connection. We do not track your real-time location for marketing purposes.
To provide the core functionality of receiving notifications on your wearable device, the App requires sensitive permissions, including:
This data is accessed only to transfer the notification content from your phone to your connected wearable device via Bluetooth. We do not store your call logs, SMS content, or contacts on our servers.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except in the following cases:
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your health and fitness data is stored locally on your device and within the App. We do not store, retain, or maintain copies of your personal data, including health data, call logs, SMS content, or contacts, on our servers. Communications data (calls, SMS, contacts) is accessed transiently only to relay notifications to your wearable device and is not persisted.
Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it (see Section 6) or uninstall the App. If you choose to sync with a third-party platform (e.g., Google Fit), retention of that data is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you retain full control over it. You can delete your data at any time by:
Settings > Apps > Phēnix Wearables > Storage > Clear Data. This removes all locally stored health and fitness data.If you believe we hold any data about you and wish to request its deletion, or if you have questions about the deletion process, contact us at support@bitmobiletech.com. We will respond to and process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
You can control the App's access to your data through your mobile device settings. You may revoke permissions (Bluetooth, Location, SMS, Phone, Contacts) at any time, though this will limit the functionality of the App (e.g., notifications will not work on the watch).
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
